    RAID показывает ключевой подход отказоустойчивости: критичная инфраструктура не обязана зависеть от одной зоны отказа. Если какой-либо диск отказывает, информация призваны сохраняться доступными. Если какой-либо хост отключен, нагрузка способна переключиться на следующий узел.

    RAID и устойчивые к сбоям платформы нужны для усиления надежности, уменьшения периодов недоступности и сохранения служебных процессов. Эти инструменты не исключают резервное сохранение и мониторинг, но вместе с ними выстраивают IT-инфраструктуру, готовую обрабатывать отказы.
